The website redesign for Professor Dr. Syeda Tabassum Alam brought her clinical and academic background together with practical information for parents. The work focused on presenting professional expertise clearly and helping families find relevant care and contact details.

Balance professional background with practical needs
The website needed to accommodate qualifications, affiliations, areas of care, publications and chamber information. Visitors required both an introduction to the doctor’s work and a straightforward route to knowing where to visit and how to get in touch.

Make a substantial body of information approachable
The challenge was to organize detailed professional content without making essential patient information difficult to locate. Qualifications and research needed room for explanation, while chamber schedules and contact options had to remain easy to find.

Build the structure around visitor priorities
The content hierarchy places qualifications and affiliations prominently, then separates areas of expertise, experience and publications into clear destinations. This structure supports a quick overview while allowing visitors to explore the doctor’s background in greater depth.
Design direction
A calm presentation with clear visual hierarchy
Blue accents, light surfaces and structured typography establish a calm, professional tone. The layouts use distinct sections for credentials and areas of care, with an experience timeline and publication cards giving longer content a more readable format.
Execution
Editable content within a consistent WordPress system
The WordPress implementation includes editable chamber schedules and contact details, along with article publishing that preserves the page structure. Dedicated Experience and Publications pages extend the design system, and the layouts were adapted for mobile screens.
