A restaurant identity carried through the website
The Shada Vaat redesign brought the restaurant’s website and brand presentation into one cohesive system. The project covered the website, logo, brand design, images, copy and admin tools, with food discovery at the centre of the experience.
The brief
Make the restaurant easier to discover and explore
The client wanted a clearer online presence and a simpler way for visitors to browse the menu. The website needed to introduce the restaurant, help people find dishes and practical visiting information, and make ordering options easy to identify.
The challenge
Unify a large menu with a distinctive brand
The challenge was to present a varied food offering clearly while expressing the warmth of Bangladeshi hospitality. Navigation, dish information and ordering links needed to work together without competing with the restaurant’s visual identity.
Discovery & strategy
Build the journey around the food
The menu is organized into food categories, with imagery and Bangla and English dish names supporting discovery. The homepage introduces key food groups before directing visitors to the full menu, while phone and WhatsApp links remain close to the browsing journey.
Design direction
Traditional warmth in a contemporary interface
Deep green surfaces, warm gold accents, expressive serif typography and food-led imagery create a recognizable restaurant presence. The logo, copy and image treatment reinforce the same identity across the homepage, menu and story pages.
Execution
A complete website supported by admin tools
The work extended beyond page layouts to include frontend development and the admin tools behind the website. Category-based browsing, menu search and alternative menu layouts support exploration, while the address, opening hours and direct ordering links provide practical next steps.
Outcome
A consistent digital experience for the restaurant
The completed project gives Shada Vaat a unified brand presentation and an organized online menu. Visitors can explore dishes, learn about the restaurant and find a direct route to ordering or visiting, while the supporting admin tools provide a basis for maintaining the website.
